Prague Castle and Lesser Town

At Prague Castle and Lesser Town tour you will discover where the ancient history of Prague began and become acquainted with the development of two of the historical towns of Prague – Hradcany and Lesser Town. If you stay longer than a day in Prague it’s highly recommended that you book our Old Town and New Town Tour in order to make the most of our stay. Exploring the interior of St.Vitus Cathedral and its crypt will add to your knowledge of the Gothic period and the view of Prague from the open air gallery on the top of the south tower of St.Vitus Cathedral will leave you breathless. The tour takes in the Old Royal Palace, St. George’s Basilica and Golden Lane at the Castle.
The Castle steps lead down to the Lesser Town and Lesser Town Square with St. Nicolas Church and you will be just a few steps away from the Church of Our Lady Victorious with the famous Jesus Child wax figure. You will be amazed by the beauty of the many remarkable Baroque palaces. A stroll through the streets of Lesser Town will take you down to the river and Kampa Island giving a magnificent view of Charles Bridge and across the river to Old Town.
